Illegal tender should have been released on the big screen. If you like it you should also view "Slow Burn". Illegal Tender is a blend on "Miami Vice" and "Heat". I watched it on OnDemand from home and was looking for the sound track when I wrote this review of the movie. Get this movie and "Slow Burn"

The plot of the story is totally realistic. A mother will do what she has to do to protect her children (at all cost). Although at times the acting took a nose dive and the realism would dip (the shoot out in the middle of the day?), I enjoyed this movie. Rick Gonzalez did an excellent job with the material. I purchased Illegal Tender based soley on the fact that it was produced by John Singleton. Happy to say, I don't regret buying it.

I recommend this movie to others.

The movie Illegal Tender was good. The movie kept you on the edge of your seat and you didn't really know what to expect next. Great Movie. The characters were great and the mother really did everything that she could for her children.
