PITT Pastel Pencils...Each pencil contains the highest quality pigments for unsurpassed light-fastness (resistance to fading). Buttery smooth color lay-down provides excellent color opacity and can be blended for layered effects highlights and transitions. Extra-thick 4.3mm leads can be wiped like ordinary pastels. Gentle fixing is recommended. Each pencil is housed in California cedar wood casing with SV (secure-all) bonding to strengthen lead and prevent breakage while providing sharp fine lines and excellent point retention. Sari Gaby resident pastel artist says...Pitt has a great color selection and holds a superior point. Pitt is more creamy less chalky but not as opaque as Carb-O-thello pastel pencils.
