Designed to off-load installed security software from your PC, the plug-in Gatekeeper Pico replaces all of your security software, adds additional security features and speeds your PC’s performance as resources are no longer dedicated to security tasks.

Plug-In to Security Hardware
Designed to off-load installed security software from your PC, this dedicated mini-server provides PC users with the following benefits:

  • Block all Internet threats outside, before they reach your PC
  • Hide your PC from Internet Hackers
  • Boost your PC’s performance
  • Dual Flash memory mechanism constitutes an "Untouchable Operating System" barrier for complete physical isolation of your PC from threats
  • Protection from known as well as unknown attacks
  • Plug and Forget easy installation and operation with no special technical knowledge required
  • Security software updates accumulate on the Yoggie’s external mini-server, instead of draining your PC’s resources

Plug-in to the future of Internet security by off-loading security to dedicated: HARDWARE. Real-Time Internet security suites put a heavy load on your computer’s processor, eating up valuable clicks trying to keep you safe. Yoggie’s Gatekeeper Pico speeds your PC by moving the software and the security burden to its own mini-computer. The future of Internet security is here.

Protecting Your Laptop from the Outside
Gatekeeper Pico stops security threats before they reach your laptop. As a dedicated security computer with no PC-related vulnerabilities, Gatekeeper Pico provides unmatched security, by physically keeping threats away from your PC. This powerful, yet tiny USB key-size device packs 12 built-in security applications, including Firewall, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, and more. You do not need to purchase additional security software for your laptop. It is easy to carry and use--simply plug it into your laptop and you are completely secure.

Award Winning Security Solutions
Yoggie has been recognized by numerous prestigious industry organizations and publications for its unique and innovative security technology. The company and its products have received the "Best of Innovation" Award-Computer Accessories from the 2008 CES International; PC Magazine 2007 Technical Excellence Award; Most Innovative Company at the RSA Conference 2007; Techworld.Com Awards 2007; Business Week/IDSA Silver Idea Award, and more."

  • Anti-Spyware
  • Intrusion Detection System
  • Intrusion Prevention System
  • Firewall (Stateful Inspection)
  • Parental Control
  • Transparent Email and Web Proxies

  • Multi-Layer Security Agent
  • Layer-8 Security Engine

The Ultimate Hardware Internet Security Suite

Physical Separation
The Gatekeeper Pico sits between the Internet and your PC. It utilizes the same approach used to protect corporate networks--physical separation of data. Software only solutions employ a re-active approach to security and only help after you’ve been attacked. By physically separating and scanning all incoming data threats never reach your PC, the Gatekeeper Pico stops them!

Performance Boost
It is widely known that security software installed on a PC can dramatically reduce its performance. Gatekeeper Pico frees your PC from security tasks. All the security applications within the Yoggie device operate in coordination, without security software conflicts or failures.

Plug and Forget
With Gatekeeper Pico you don’t have to be a security expert to enjoy Pentagon level protection. All you have to do is simply plug Gatekeeper Pico in and you are completely safe.

Gatekeeper Pico even features automatic security updates and upgrades, so you don’t have to worry about downloads since they accumulate on the Yoggie device rather than your PC.

How Does it Work?
The Gatekeeper Pico is a USB key-sized mini-computer whose sole function is to run Yoggie’s "Pentagon Level" security suite, a 12 point protection system designed to replace all of your existing security software.

In addition to protection from viruses, the Gatekeeper Pico weeds out spam, protects against phishing and spoofing, blocks spyware and offers intrusion detection and prevention. It includes a firewall as well as parental content control and transparent email and web proxies. Its proprietary, patent-pending Layer-8 Security Engine protects the user from unknown attacks, new viruses, spyware and worms, and does not require virus signatures. Yoggie’s patent-pending Multi-Layer Security Agent coordinates between the different security components to provide early detection of new attacks as they begin their operation. Its patent-pending Adaptive Security Policy dynamically matches threats with the appropriate security level in real time, keeping the laptop secure under any condition.

With Gatekeeper Pico you can connect to any unsecured hotspot knowing that you are completely protected. It hides your laptop’s IP Address and creates a physical barrier from incoming threats, protecting the laptop from unknown attacks by dropping the connection as threats are identified.

Gatekeeper Pico includes a web-based management console which provides status information, security logs, and reports and can be used to configure device settings, network settings and security policy.

How Do I Use It?

  • Simply plug-in the Pico to any available USB port on your PC.
  • Insert the installation CD and run one last sweep of your computer with the free copy of Kaspersky Anti-Virus included on the disk.
  • Uninstall any existing security software
That’s it--Enjoy increased PC performance and "Pentagon Level Protection"

1.0 out of 5 stars Corrupted my password. None existant tech support, May 16, 2008
By S. Cannon (Medford, OR United States) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
The documentation for this product is the most poorly written I have ever come across and I am a software tech support guy so I know a fair amount about what I am doing. After figuring out what the install guide was trying to get me to do, I got the thing installed but it wasn't working. I called tech support. The play this message saying that you are first in line for about 15 minutes then they let you leave a message and then you are kicked off. The trouble is that a.) they never call you back and b.) every time you call they play the "you are first in line" non-sense.

After two days I was able to get through to them. The tech support person barely spoke english but eventually concluded that my software was not up to date. She had me update the software and in the process my password became corrupted. There is no way that I forgot my password but when I try to do anything with Yoggie it says my password is invalid.

Now I can't get on the internet with Yoggie and the software it installed on my PC won't let me get online without the Yoggie. My computer is dead in the water and completely unable to do anything on the internet.

Do yourself a favor before you buy this product. Try calling their tech support number and see what happens. You don't need to take my word for it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Re-Re-Re-Boot, April 21, 2008
By M. Heady (St. Louis, Missouri United States) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I really can not review the performance of this item since it always caused my computer to reboot constantly. I tried three times to install the product and it did seem to work until the next time I would reboot. The computer would then stay in a reboot loop until I would stop it, go into safe mode, and do the recovery to a preinstall.

1.0 out of 5 stars Do not get it, review after several months of use and 51 emails and support calls later, December 31, 2008
By D. Vibbert (Annapolis, MD United States) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Because of slow internet access and Yoggie stopping access to any site login page I've stopped using this expensive product. I've literally emailed back and forth with their tech support 51 times over 4 months. Other websites and professional reviewers have noted and I've seen myself that it will slow down your internet connection. Skype and things like that probably won't work after upgrading to Yoggie. These are the issues we've had with the product (this is using the most current 1.4.0 version of firmware)

1) device needs to be disabled to authenticate to any website. Yoggie will not let you into the login page of most websites, google docs, yahoo email, etc.

2) The device attempts to autoupdate itself for virus signatures and firmware. I've yet to see this work successfully. In the past several days the device has blocked all internet access while it was trying to do an autoupdate. We needed to disable the device, switch to corporate mode, and then have it try to update itself. It took 6 emails over 2 months to get this firmware updated. The reason we really wanted it updated was to take advantage of new features like whitelists so we could use netflix instant view, website authentication, etc. The firmware upgrade though does not solve these problems.

3) it will stop the processing of items like instant view movies from the internet on sites such as netflix.

4) tech support is inconsistant. One tech support stated there was no way for yoggie to manually update it's firmware, and mentioned this string of reboots to try to get it working. The next week, someone sent a file called yoggieupdater.exe which was supposed to do the update. Neither worked.

5) I'm really not confident that the device can keep your computer safe. You need to constantly disable the device for various reasons, and at that point your wide open to attack. And after the device is reenabled, it has no native ability to look for spyware or other malware installed on your PC, just to block new attacks.

6) Tech support will not acknowledge any of your concerns. Even when you look on major software review websites and see anyone who actually did a hands on review of the product had problems accessing things like email, and it's pretty much everyones opinion this is going on, the tech support people say "works fine for me", and then 6 months later release a patch which actually is supposed to fix the issue.

It seems like an underfunded company with a good idea, but simply can't afford the research to provide a good, reliable product. Instead they are simply looking for new features, regardless of how reliably it works.
The end of this is that I'm going to have to disable this product and buy something else. I'm by the way not a technical novice.
