DREAMING OUT LOUD - 1940, 65 mins, B&W Starring: Chester Luack, Norris Goff, Frances Langford, Robert Wilcox Synopsis: Radio stars Lum Edwards and Abner Peabody make their film debut in this film about two small-town men and their general store in Arkansas. Lum and Abner raise money for the town's first ambulance, investigate the death of little Jimmy, and try to bring together Dr. Kenneth Barnes and Alice.

The two producers fight over sponsor Ormsby Jamison, plus Leroy tries to woo radio writer Corey Sullivan.
