My 3 year old daughter had a blast filling the pots with the dirt & seeds, and now everything is growing. She waters them all the time (watering can & a spray bottle) and notes if it's too windy or rainy and wants to check on her plants all the time. Lots of ongoing learning...we hope to cook & eat some of the herbs later this summer.

We just loved this garden set. All the parts are really strong and high quality, it's amazing they are made from recycled milk containers. The seeds are all organic, and it comes with compacted soil that looks like a hockey puck but fluffs up into a full pot of soil. Very cool!!!

My 6 year old son was very excited about this gift. He was able to do it all by himself. He planted the seeds about 4 days ago so we are still waiting for them to pop up. This offers a great introduction to gardening and the idea if growing your own food. It also offers the oportunity to to discuss differences in the quality of materials used in toys and the idea of reusing materials to make other things. Very happy with this product!!
