I came across this item when it came back as a recommended item from Amazon. It is NOT a toy as one would think, these are the kinds of things my wife used to tell our kids "look with your eyes, not with your hands!". They do make great desk display at work since they don't take up much room at all. The model detail, especially since many of the ships are so small, is really very good. For others in the late 40's early 50's age group looking for things from their youth these can't be beat!
