The feathers are good ostrich and work well, but the telescoping property is pretty useless, as there is not a lock for when it is 14". So, unless you keep it upside down, the thing just slides back into the sheath.
Pretty useless for regular dusting. I have to put tape on it to keep it extended. I would not recommend it

I used this feather duster about 3 times and the string that holds the feathers on the slide retractor broke and I had feathers all over the place.

This duster was at one time one of the best when the feathers were held together with wire vs string.

Use with caution.....

I'm a drummer. And although I use my drums a lot, Even while using them, they sit and collect dust. So in order to keep my drums looking nice, I need to dust them frequently. I've struggled to find a good duster that will not scratch my drums and get rid of the dust to keep them shining nicely. After a fellow drummer recommended this product to me, I had to get me 2 of them. I've never been so pleased. The design of the retractable head makes it easy to store and use when I need it quickly. It performs well and doesn't scratch the finish of the drums. I wouldn't recommend anything else for dusting.
