Petri Culture Dish - glass
Flint Glass (this type glass is similar to glass that used in windows and jars).
These economical dishes cost much less than borosilicate (Pyrex Brand) and can be re-used many times and heat sterilized.
Note This type of glass does have to be cooled and heated more slowly than borosilicate type of glass to avoid breakage. Heat and cool them gently and avoid rapid temperature changes and they will serve you well.
