bought this for my son's 9th b-day. he has really enjoyed playing with it. (it's his 1st tamagotchi type toy.) got bored with it for a while, but has gone back to playing with it. i find it helps to challenge him to try and see how many "generations" he can have without them "leaving" or something like that. seems to keep him playing with it more that way!
