The paint job on the beak of one of these birds is flakey, causing me to think that quality isn't Job 1 at Union Products.

Update (7/28/09): These have been out in the yard for 2 months. The color has faded unbelievably! The backs are almost white! I would downgrade the rating from 3 stars to 2 stars (if Amazon would let me).

Pink Flamingos, a true classic. These are the latest rendition of the original Union Products Flamingos designed by Don Featherstone. Faster Form has brought them out of extinction and I'm glad they did. They are great, from the separate applied eyes to Don's signature cast on the birds butt. If you like yard flamingos....and I do, these are a must have!

If you're going to have pink flamingos, you should get the originals! Much nicer than the imitations--more detailed and better paint job. Our first pair is finally starting to look faded after about 6 years in the sun so we ordered some new ones. They were unavailable for a while after the plant closed but apparently someone finally bought it and started making them again. Hurray!
