These are fun toys. They are a bit complicated for those under 4, but they do figure them out with a bit of practice.

This product was a little hard to put together, purchased for an advanced 6 year old. Found it frustrating.

I'm not a huge Transformers fan anymore. Oh, I used to be. Until a few years ago I had over 120 TF's. Eventually I go tired of them and sold them on eBay. Since then I haven't had any real interest in them, though I did enjoy the movie, despite Michael Bay's involvement.

Back when I collected the toys, I also watched the programs. "Beast Wars" was my flat-out favorite and one of my favorite characters on the show was Blackarachnia. As a result, I was quite pleased when I found out they'd made a new toy of her. Though I hadn't bought any TF's since about 2003, I gave in and bought her (and six others... the mania begins...).

This toy is quite impressive! It works well in both spider forms and robot forms. It's much better made than the previous versions of the character, especially the "Beast Machines" version that had either feet that were about half the character's body length in size, or were tiny points the toy couldn't stand up on.

The only flaws I can really find with it are that the legs don't really support the body that well and the little grappling hook device doesn't stick well to either the robot or spider form.

Still and all, I was quite pleased with the toy! I don't think I'll start really getting back into TF collection, but this one at least was quite nice and worth buying.
