Nice quality construction and fabric. Nice mixture of black, blue, silver, and a touch of tan. The color mix makes the shirt very versatile, and works well with black, blue, grey/charcoal, and khaki pants.

I bought several van Heusen shirts during a sale and this one was the only one of the lot thbat had the 'fitted' design.
The other shirts fit like general off-the-shelf shirts in that it is a square straight trunk, a collar and if you're lucky: 2 - arms.

This one is different in that the fitted design makes it look much more 'dressed' when worn with slacks or even a jeans. In general the fitted models look more expensive.

The other good things about this shirt:
- As stated: nice looking fit
- Colors hold very well after several washing cycles: deep rich black tone
- Striped design looks slimming
- Fabric is wrinkle free and you can wear it without ironing if must be. Even after longer drive / evening out it still looks fresh because of wrinkle resistance
- Fabric is comfortable on the skin

Cons:
- Collar-stays are in the collar themselves, you cannot put your own in. My experience with that is that they bend over time and the collar will not look as nice anymore.
- Price: I bought this at a significant bargain but would note rate them five stars at full price as you can get semi-customized shirts online for 20$ more.

Generally like the price quality of van Heusen shirts as the fabric hold well with intensive (work) use. These are true to size in that 17 34/35 is a precise fit for me as it should be.
