These are the test strips to go with the AgaMatrix WaveSense KeyNote Meter Kit - Blood Glucose Monitoring System.

These strips are 1/2 to 1/3 the cost of test strips from other manufacturers. Since the cost of strips can be a huge long-term expense, this is a very significant savings. I use ~8-10 strips per day => $8-$10 per day for OneTouch strips vs. $2.50-$3 for these. That's a savings of more than $2000 per year. (Even though my insurance pays for the strips, I dislike purchasing from companies that overcharge the uninsured.)

The strips need a much smaller drop of blood than many other brands...certainly much less than my various OneTouch meters. Even better, WaveSense claims that their proprietary technology results in more accurate readings. From my perspective, it's a perfect combination...better accuracy, lower cost and a smaller, less painful fingerstick.

Incidentally, when I ordered two boxes of 100 recently, I received four boxes of 50. It was nice that DAP shipped them out, rather than holding the order, waiting for the boxes of 100 to arrive in their warehouse.
