This postcard features six shoe salesclerks (5 salesmen and 1 saleswoman) with shoehorns and Brannock foot measurers in front of a shoe display with jugglers that says "We're Ready!". The text printed on the back of the card says: "Yes! We are ready to carefully fit boys and girls with their back-to-school shoes! At Value-Rite Family Shoes! Using the latest in foot science and employing 'The friendliest shoe staff in the state' we get the right shoe for the right child. (And of course we have a present for your child!)" Although there is no date on this card, it's an actual reproduction of a vintage postcard selected from "tens of thousands of cards" submitted to the Klutz Press Tacky Postcard Contest and published in their 2nd volume, 1989, book: Revenge of the Son of the World's Tackiest Postcards (out-of-print).
