After taking this product on its first trip, I was somewhat disappointed. The cord is overly long and dangles awkwardly to the side, not to the back as you might expect. In fact, I could loop it twice over my head. In terms of convenience, a large size shirt pocket works just as well to hold your ID and boarding pass, since you have to pull the ID out of the holder and you have to put the holder in the bin to be scanned. So one more thing to deal with during the hectic security check-in. If you have a passport to deal with, it may make more sense to bring this along.

The pen is rather silly, cheap, and requires two hands to twist open i.e. not a ballpoint pen. Not sure why they included it.

This is just what I wanted! I was afraid that it would not have a long neck tie, but it's adjustable and can be hanging down my neck past my waist (great for taller people).
