Metamorphic Set includes 10 specimens each of coal (anthracite), gneiss (banded), marble (white), quartzite, schist (garnet), and slate (gray). Sedimentary Set includes 10 specimens each of coal (bituminous), conglomerate, halite (rock salt), limestone (fine grain), sandstone (red), and shale (gray). Mineral Set includes 10 specimens each of calcite (cleavages), corundum, feldspar (microline), fluorite, galena (cleavable), gypsum (massive), halite (cleavage), hematite (red), lodestone, magnetite (black crystalline), mica (cleavages), pyrite, quartz crystal, quartz (rose), serpentine, sulfur, and talc (gray/green).
