Karen walked toward the gate, a gate beyond which was a world of total female slavery. The author is not a professional writer, but is a person who has "played" in the BDSM scene for many years.
These books are based on activities that the author has actually done with various submissive females, primarily Karen, known as Felicia, or are the fantasies described to the author by various submissives of situations they asked him to do to them for their own fantasy fulfillment, including arranging gang bangs, gange simulated rape, prolonged suspension, torture and more. Therefore as you read the book you can hopefully visualize the acts being preformed by the author and a willing and helplessly bound and available female submissive. Each book leads you deeper and deeper into Felicia's life and her descend into deeper waters of submission until she is submerges her life totally into submission and becoming an owned animal to be used for the pleasure of her owner, whoever that might be, and herself regardless of the cost and danger. Each book takes you through the mental and physical progression of her growth into being such an animal. The author, with the help of others in real life, led a young lady down this path until she was kept in a barn as an owned animal for her owner.
Books 1 through 4 may seem a bit "dry" and not filled with details respecting what is happening to Felicia. This was done to show the slow progression toward being an owned animal. In books 5 and 6 this comes more into focus and the dangerous elements of her situation as well as that of others around her are much more pronounced and clearly defined.
Book 7: Brigit appeared to be nervous and when asked why simply replied that she had not gotten everything she asked for and was now concerned based on what she had gotten if she could take what awaited her and live to tell her husband. On the other hand, to even get home and through what was ahead of her, based on her own requests she knew was doubtful. Brigit paced the cage waiting for the next event to unfold. She did not know what it would be as she still has several dark desires that she hadn’t told anyone about, including her husband. She had just added them to her agreement without his knowledge. Now she was having second thoughts about these additions but knew she could not change her mind at this point and only hoped that she lived through them, yet the thought of not living through them she knew was part of her motivation for requesting them.
Thus her life would be in the hands of others and she was but a living toy for them to use or kill.

I don't know what fantasyland the author is living in.

He spends so much time tell the reader how he has really done this stuff and knows others who "live the lifestyle" that you start to wonder who he is trying to convince - the reader or himself.

If (big if) he has ever actually participated in a BDSM relationship of any type, he has certainly never had a conversation of more than one sentence with a female submissive. His "story" sounds more to me like what a horny want-to-be has his fantasy girls saying, thinking, and doing. I know a lot of women (being one myself) who play or live in the lifestyle, and not one of them has ever had the kind of thoughts the he attributes to his characters.

His characters are shallow and one dimensional, and his plot is almost nonexistent. Reading this story is like watching the worst kind of cheap porn, with bad acting, bad lighting bad sound track and no script. It makes you feel like you could have had more fun washing your hair.

I could deal with less than good writing style, punctuation, and grammar if there was anything else to recommend, but there just isn't. All in all, I was sadly disappointed.

I purchased The Slave Chroniques Book 1 2nd Edition when on a business trip involving a lot of air travel. Before I finished the trip I had already purchased book 2, 3 and 4.
My wife and I had played a little BDSM in our own life and found it a wonderful turn-on and addition to our sexual experiences with each other. When I got home I gave her the books to read and soon we were trying to do some of the more involved bondage and sexual positions contained in the books. Only two problems they called for a second male or female. So we just kept it between ourselves. Our closeness to each other has grown a lot and I strongly recommend the books. They are not the best written books I've ever read but they are very helpful and interesting. We both wish there was a "real" Slave Island where we could take our next vacation.
