Editorial Reviews

Product Description
Limited two disc (CD + NTSC/Region 0 DVD) pressing of the 2008 album from one of Finland finest Rock exports of recent years, featuring a bonus DVD that contains a documentary on the making of the album. The band that gave us the international smash hit 'In The Shadows' in 2003, taken from the platinum-selling album Dead Letters, have now teamed up with legendary producer and songwriter Desmond Child (he that wrote the likes of 'Livin' On A Prayer' by Bon Jovi, 'Poison' by Alice Cooper and 'Livin' La Vida Loca' by Ricki Martin) on an album that boast a score of potential hit singles. 5.0 out of 5 stars This is awesome!, January 27, 2009
One of the greatest albums from The Rasmus, after Dead Letters. I love it!

The Rasmus comes to Macedonia in Skopje on 11 February and I have my ticket. I can't wait until than. BTW I've ordered this awesome disk!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic CD, January 12, 2009
By Dennis (Florida) - See all my reviews
I discovered Rasmus totally by accident a couple weeks ago and ended up with this album. I disagree with a previous reviewer who said that this is not the Rasmus album to start with. This is one great listen. One or two less exciting songs but then again few albums are perfect. This one comes darn close. Every listen seems to bring out another layer and I haven't had to skip a song once.

As an old timer (50 something) who's been rockin since the late 50's, I'm really happy that there seems to be bands out there that still rock and haven't gone over the edge as so many bands do these days. A lot of my favorite rock these days seems to be coming from Scandinavian or Eupopean bands. I'm looking forward to getting Rasmus' eariler releases.

4.0 out of 5 stars A good record
However, too much Bon Jovi-style influence and Journey-ish arena rock deja vu for my taste. This music is also very Euro-sounding, which might be a negative. Read more
