Can't speak to durability yet, have owned for only about a month. However, with what experience we have had with it I can say that if the price had been a bit lesser and battery life ( currently about 2 hours) a bit greater, I would have rated this DVD player at 5 stars easy.

Bought this about 9 months ago, but apparently warranty is only for 90 days. Starting smoking when plugged in and died. Don't waste your money.

I purchased this product to use on a long (c. 22 hour) plane trip. It was advertised as having a "Built-In High Capacity Rechargeable Battery." Upon reading the instruction booklet, I found that the battery life is only two hours.

It did come in a sturdy carrying case and what appeared to be a lot of little gizmos, but I never got further than the instruction booklet.
