The Sole TT8 treadmill differs from other treadmills in one crucial area--the running deck is an impressive 22 inches wide (as compared to the standard 20 inches) by 60 inches long. This gives runners more space to work with, thereby increasing their safety and comfort level. At the same time, the TT8 doesn't skimp on power or functionality, with a robust 3.5-horsepower, continuous-duty motor that delivers speeds of up to 12 miles per hour and inclines of up to 15 percent. Add in the six-window LED display--which tracks your speed, incline, time, distance traveled, calories, pulse, and pace--and you have an ideal treadmill for the home fitness enthusiast.

The TT8 is outfitted with a host of additional user-friendly features, including six auto workout programs, four custom programs, and two heart-rate control programs for cardio or weight loss. When in heart-training mode, the treadmill automatically makes adjustments to the incline to keep you in your target heart-rate zone (the treadmill comes with a wireless chest strap with a 99.9 percent accuracy rating). And users with creaky joints will love the Cushion Flex treadmill deck, which is built to protect your knees from excessive pounding, with the ability to reduce impact up to 40 percent compared to running on asphalt. Other details include a double-woven two-ply running belt; armrest speed and incline controls; and armrest cooling fans. This machine is perfect if you are looking for a light commercial machine for your home. Its the widest running surface my wife could find online, 22". It also has a huge 3.5HP motor.
