NETGEAR(R), Inc. (NASDAQ:NTGR), San Jose, Calif., has announced that its CMD31T Cable Modem received DOCSIS(R) 3.0 certification in CableLabs(R)' Certification Wave 60. DOCSIS 3.0 specifies support for at least four downstream and four upstream channels. The resulting data rates of up to 160 Mbps downstream and 120 Mbps upstream enable cable operators to provide optimum Internet service and the most advanced offerings available to residential and small to medium-sized business customers.
