Rainbows is an enchanting bedtime story in which the child drifts on a cloud, visits a
rainbow, and relaxes in a cocoon of healing light. This story includes proven, age-

I bought "The Swan and The Mermaid" for my 4 year old and "Rainbows and Sunshine" for my 7 year old. A friend told me about them. Both CDs are wonderful; the music is beautiful, the voices are soothing, and they are really are right for their ages!

My 7 year old loves Rainbows and Sunshine. It is very soothing and the narratives are perfect for him. I like that there are two different narratives; Rainbows is more like a story about floating on a cloud, with songs about sunshine and rainbows. (I love the vocals on these songs; the voices are soothing and pretty.) Sunshine is more like a relaxation narrative, except that it explains things in "kid" terms.

My son liked the CD right away. I play it every night before bed, and I let him listen to it in the car when we drove to my mother's house for Thanksgiving. It helped him fall asleep in the car (it is a long drive), and it helped him fall asleep at night at Grandma's house. It was so great to be able to sit and talk with my mom at night while my kids listened to their CDs and went to sleep!

Sometimes I listen to it with him. He was nervous about a report he had to give in school, so in the part where you can picture doing something I suggested that he imagine giving the report without being nervous. It really helped him! I was happy to have a way to help with this; I wish I knew how to do this when I was his age.

I highly recommend these to anyone who has kids, especially kids who are anxious or have trouble calming down and going to sleep.

This is a great CD and is very well-produced. It is not only good for young children who would be lulled to sleep by the soothing music but also for older listeners who would find it relaxing to listen to at the end of a hectic day.

I would really recommend buying this CD. It is a real investment.
