Had boughten one of these before from another online salemen which arrived warped and bent. This time from this seller, item arrived perfectly and has been on my ipod without any problems for several months now. :)

When I opened it, I immediately noticed what seemed to be an air bubble already on the plastic before even applying it. I was rather mad about that. Then I took it off the plastic and applied it. The air bubble already on there was the only one I saw, and thought maybe I could fix it, but all they supply you is a small piece of flimsy cardboard to apply the screen protector with. So I take off the cover, but accidentally drop it on my carpet. Of course, with the adhesive, the fibers stuck to it, and made the screen protector an eyesore on my iPod and I just removed it permanently.
It also darkens your display a little.
but for it's purpose, yes, it is a mirror and does that function rather well. But I would say the negatives overweigh the positives, at least in my case.
Hopefully your experience will be better than mine.

I took it off after a week because I couldn't see the desplay very well while outdoors.
