The Road Refresher Pet Bowl is an entirely new concept in keeping your pet happy at home and when you are on the move. This ingenious design eliminates spills and can even help reduce pet slobber. The bowl can be filled with water and placed in a moving vehicle, yet will not spill. Also keeps long ears and pet beards out of the water. The bowl limits the amount of water your pet can pick up at any one time, yet holds 54-fluid ounces, so there's plenty of water for all sizes and breeds. The Road Refresher has a floating plate inside which feeds enough water for your dog to drink, but restricts the flow whenever there is a surge of water, from cornering, braking, kicking, etc. The bowl also has a Velcro(R) base to attach to carpet. May also be attached to plastic, wood or metal surfaces with the additional included Velcro (R) tabs. Made from heat resistant polypropylene.

This bowl works as advertised. I have been using mine for years now. It is real durable. My large black lab has no problem putting his snout down in order to drink. There is a *gasket* that I never use, I just let my dogs go straight to the water and it still doesn't spill out.

This bowl replaced my buddy bowl. The road refresher bowl is great because it is easy to take apart and it is dishwasher safe.However, the design of the lid is contoured differently and my one dog developed problems drinking from it. Neither dog liked drinking from the bowl. It does not hold as much water as the buddy bowl so I was constantly refilling it. I prefer the buddy bowl,it is worth the hand washing.

My cats love splashing water all over the place. This item really saves me from cleaning the floor daily!
