i bought this exact item in 2008 from another seller...total waste of money...it was so thin i couldn't get it to peel off the paper at all..and i did follow the directions perfectly... needless to say, i wasn't able to use it and ended up tossing it out...it was disappointing because it was a cute as can be and would have looked great on my son's cake...maybe i got a bad one - but i doubt it because other folks wrote reviews about this item and noted that they had the same problem and couldn't use it

I like this cake-topper. It worked perfectly for my daughter's 4th birthday cake. Be aware that it takes a little patience! In order to get it off the paper backing, it helps to have someone assisting you, and you have to work it gently off the paper. I did get a few tiny rips towards the edges, but I managed to smooth those out once the topper was on the cake. Since most bakeries do not currently offer a Wow Wow Wubbzy cake, this is a great option for making your own. I did consider having a bakery do the cake and providing them with this topper to put on it, which I am sure would work if someone wanted to go that route.

I like it that the topper came with sprinkles (which I inadvertently forgot) and candles that matched the predominant Wubbzy color (yellow). I'd ordered special Wubbzy candles separately and used those instead, but if you didn't want to do that, you'll have appropriately colored candles to use if you purchase this product.
