Amazon shipped this item me very quickly and I installed it just today. Installation with this fan was trickier than others I had installed. There were too many screws, literally...I had screws left over and I followed the instructions precisely. The install took about 2 hours.

The fan is very quiet, and the light is sufficient. I wish the light could dim, but I knew it couldn't going into it. I'd check the Hunter website and make sure the blades co-ordinate with your existing decor...the website shows the true colors more accurately than Amazon's pictures.

This fan hasn't worked correctly one day since I bought it. It turns on by itself, the light, and fan. I'll go to bed, and wake up with the fan on high or the light comes on by itself in the middle of the night. Not pleasant. I've changed the code on the remote, didn't help. I have to turn the fan off at the wall (not how it's supposed to work) to make sure it doesn't turn on by itself. Another thing it does, it when I press the remote to turn on the light, sometimes the light flashes suddenly as if the bulb burned out, but doesn't come on. I press the light switch on the remote again, and it clicks, then press it again and it comes on normally.

I contacted Hunter and they sent me out a new receiver. I installed it yesterday (having to take the fan down and rewiring it all) - it doesn't help at all. The fan came on twice in less than 24 hours.

This fan is totally useless. It was expensive, and I consider every dollar I spent on it to be a total waste. I'll be contacting Hunter again, and update this review if I get the issue resolved.
