Google Docs provides online access to word documents, spreadsheets, and presentation software. By accessing this system, anyone can use the programs and create documents completely free of charge. In this way, there's no need to buy updated software.

As I read through Google Docs for Everyone, I noted a variety of very useful features. The most obvious advantage is that I could give another person in another city access to my work to edit or proofread with minimal trouble. There is even a chat option so I could talk while working together.

There are also a variety of other little features that could make my life a little easier. I liked that I could organize files into coloured folders for easy access and that I could even place a single file in more than one folder then when updated the file saved in all locations. Using this system, I can also create and use templates not just for word processing documents but also for spreadsheets.
