Amazon Verified Purchase

I made a choice between Hi Den Vision's HD0310 and Western Digital WD TV HD Media Player and being 40 dollars less, I thought Hi-Den Vision's HD0310 will do the job with the consideration that it wont have the "fancy" effect.

The package was surprisingly delivered the next morning of my order! So that was pretty fast. It does not contain a full user manual for you to know what all the settings are about (I thought I wouldn't need one, but apparently some terms used in the settings menu are not very common to a basic user like me).

My experience with this device is for only one day and here is what I think:

The Look:
Well I was right as this product does not look "fancy" and it has a midiocre user interface.

Functionality:
1) Sadly my USB HD drive was not recognized (unsupported device) and that was due to the format as it only supports FAT32 and my hard drive is formatted using NTFS>
2) After using a USB flash drive, I faced some problems too;
a) USB flash was not recognized at times
b) Other times it hanged and I had to switch if off and back on
c) AVI movies not recognized
d) AVI movies playback with no audio (no sound, just picture)
3) When I could browse to the folder where the movie files were and the AVI worked fine, I had the treat of watching 1080p HD movie on my 42" Plasma HD TV.

Support:
The Hi Den Vision's website isn't fancy either and does not contain a great support section. However you are able to download the latest software firmware and install it all by yourself. This is a plus point in case they update the software to work better.

In Breif, when it works, it's pretty fine; However, out of 3 files, 1 wasn't supported, 1 did not have audio, 1 worked pretty fine.

I'll update this comment if anything comes up. For the time being, I hope this was helpful.

You have digital images, digital video and even digital audio. What if you want to experience digital quality on your television? It's not so easy to do, unless you have a specific device such as Hi-Den.

The Hi-Den HDMI Digital Photo Viewer is a small easy-to-use device that allows you to view your photos, watch videos, or listen to music right on your HDTV. Forget crowding around the computer. Sit back and relax on your couch while sharing your fave pics and vides with everyone. Show pictures on HDTV by inserting a memory card or USB drive. Play your favorite MP3 files through your tv, or watch slide shows from the last family reunion.

Assuming you have an HDMI television or a cable, you'll be able to easily set this up. It has an AC adapter, and a remote control! It allows you to browse, or choose what type of device to watch from. You can even adjust the resolution right from the remote... supporting up to a whopping 1080p!! That's about as good as it gets these days.
