The bent shaft helps maintain a natural anatomical position during the stroke. This ergonomic design promotes proper alignment of the wrist and relieves major stress on the tendons and ligaments. The ATX is injection molded and is heat cured using a unique hybrid epoxy that is constructed under 40 tons of pressure. Super-laminated nylon edging around the perimeter of the carbon blades increase impact durability. The ATX shaft is a hybrid braid of Carbon and S-Glass, providing a softer feel. This flexible shaft is designed to simulate the natural flex of a wooden shaft, and helps lessen stress to joints even more.
