Editorial Reviews

Product Description

2009 album from the Europop trio fronted by vocalist Natalie Horler. Evacuate The Dancefloor marks a fresh start for one of the world's most successful Dance acts, and looks likely to dominate the airwaves throughout the rest of the year. Cascada found international fame with their huge, debut hit 'Everytime We Touch'. A smash in the States before the band had even toured there, the song quickly caught on across the globe, followed by a multi-platinum 500,000 selling album that spawned eight singles, including the massive 'Miracle' and a dance cover of Savage Garden's 'Truly, Madly, Deeply'. Their second album, Perfect Day, continued Cascada's reign as one of the world's Top 10 selling dance acts. 11 tracks. Universal. 2009.

5.0 out of 5 stars 5 out of 5!, August 22, 2009
This review is from: Evacuate the Dancefloor (Audio CD)
Cascada are back and better than ever! This album is by far the BEST album Cascada have released, it's perfect. My favorites tunes would be:

"Evacuate The Dancefloor"- the new single, and a summer smash! With its addictive Lady Gaga vibe, this song is something new and starts the album with a bang.

"Every Time I Hear Your Name"- A superb pop/dance song, and one of Cascada's finest moments to date! For me this has the same magic as DJ Sammy's "Heaven", a real gem of a track and her voice sounds the best it's ever sounded.

"Dangerous"- If you were a fan of "Everytime We Touch", you will love this one. An excellent hands-in-the-air dance tune which is sure to set any club on fire!

Honestly, there isn't a bad song on the album. Cascada have obviously put all their efforts in to come up with an absolutely stellar record. BUY!

5.0 out of 5 stars 3rd time's the charm..., August 20, 2009
By George (Philadelphia, PA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Evacuate the Dancefloor (Audio CD)
I am very impressed with this album. First of all, I think it is great that in this day and age a dance act can release their third album. And kudos to Robbins Ent for putting it out. This album outshines their first two, by a long shot. Natalie and crew are mixing it up a little with their style, as they should be. It shows growth. The thump thump and repetativeness of their first two albums was wearing a bit thin. And so was some of the "cheese" they were putting out. (Cheese which really surprised me because DJ Yanou is brilliant).

The album starts off with the brilliant Lady Gaga electro inspired title track, loses a little steam (I think) with the lukewarm "Hold On" but picks right up with one of the albums strongest tracks, "Everytime I hear your Name". Other strong tracks include "What about Me", Cascada style "ready or Not" and "Dangerous" and the albums best song, "Fever". There are two ballads on this cd. Is that two much? well, maybe but the are good tracks. As a whole, this album works-really well. Natalies vocal ability is a lot more evident on here. Maybe because the songs aren't so fast that you can actually hear her sing instead of trying to catch up with the music.

Great job.

I bought this one with Perfect Day and Everytime we touch. This one has very good tracks like Evacuate the Dancefloor, Hold on, Fever, Bad boy or What about me. However, Perfect Day was better than this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome album
I've heard all the songs on this album and they are fantastic! There is a great variety of styles on it too, not just techno/club beats.
