Product Description

Personally selected by Fess Parker, this collection includes the original lost pilot (never previously available on DVD), an episode Directed by Fess Parker, as well as other fantastic adventures of Daniel Boone.

Disc 1

Ken-Tuck-E (Original 1964 color pilot)
Recently discovered and restored, the Original Pilot was shot in color, however Season 1 was shot in Black and White, much to Fess Parker s dismay. Fans have long been seeking a good copy of the pilot episode, "Ken-Tuck-E," where the Boones have 3 children Jemima, Israel, and Nathan and Darby Hinton plays Nathan!

Empire of the Lost (Season 2 original air date 9/16/65):
Daniel returns from a journey to find Boonesborough evacuated by order of British colonel Marcus Worthing, who says he's battling a rebellion and that he wants Boone to surrender the fort.

A Christmas Story (Season 2 original air date 12/23/65)
As a blizzard rages, Daniel tries to persuade the settlers to shelter an Indian brave and his pregnant wife.

Fort West Point (Season 3 original air date 3/23/67)
General Hugh Scott, commander of Fort West Point, plans to turn over his vital post to the British -- but he underestimates Daniel's ability to see through the plot.

Disc 2

The Williamsburg Cannon, Part 1 (Season 3 original air date 1/12/67)
In the first of a two-part story, Daniel and Mingo set out to recruit three fighting backwoodsmen to help an arrogant artillery officer drag a heavy cannon 1000 miles through enemy-infested wilderness.

The Williamsburg Cannon, Part 2 (Season 3 original air date 1/19/67)
The British set a trap for Daniel in the conclusion of this two-part story. Daniel and his small band, hauling a heavy cannon to the Continental forces on the Western frontier, have no choice but to force their way through redcoat lines.

Mama Cooper (Season 6 original air date 2/5/70)
After being separated from his mother since his childhood, Gabe finds evidence that she still lives. He vows to find her and buy her freedom.

Hannah Comes Home (Season 6 original air date 12/25/69)
Hannah, a white woman captured by Indians in a raid 15 years before, returns to her husband in Boonesborough. Their reunion is complicated by the presence of Hannah's half-Indian son, who wants no part of the white man's world. (Directed by Fess Parker).

This DVD shows short stories of Daniel Boone and his life on the frontier with the problems with life, indians and English rule. They have entertainment, humor and give you an idea of the problems people of that time had. They are great for family enjoyment and show values that people had for each other rather than the dog eat dog that goes on today.
