The concept of this show is good. The people in this show are not. It seems to me like they blame all of these "hauntings" on objects that would look cool in their museum.

'I believe this object is the reason why your home is haunted. What would you like to do? I can take it to my museum for you and rid you of the haunting.'

Tools.

Any fan of Ghost Hunters should enjoy this show. It is similiar to many of the other "ghost shows" out now, in that the team goes in to investigate paranormal claims made by clients who send in videos. There are a few main differences between Haunted Collector and the other shows.

First off, HC claims that spirits will attach to an object of some kind. Typically at the end of the investigation they find the object and remove it which (usually) solves the paranormal problems. They don't always find one, occasionally doing something else to "bind" or "calm" the spirit.

The second thing people will discover is that HC finds more activity than the other shows. You are pretty much guaranteed to get an EVP, movement, shadow forms, etc every episode.

I will say first and foremost I find the show entertaining. Which is really the main point right? If it comes out later that this show was faked I would be disappointed but not surprised. For those thinking that they are scamming the clients and taking the items for "safe keeping", what isn't made clear in the show is that at any time if the person wants his item back it will be returned.

Would I recommend it for ghost fans? Sure. Just make sure to watch it for entertainment value first, the "validity" of the show is secondary to its fun value

Not every hunting or paranormal phenomena is attached to an object, this guy to me, seems to have a great business with this, Collecting these antiques that I guess He would be able to sell, after a while, for a very good price, and now maybe he is already charging a fee to see his museum ( I don't know that, I just Know he does a lot of publicity of his museum and location on the Show). I don't think this show will show you any proof of anything, it's not even a good example of what should be a good investigation and....It is also boring...when you already know that He is going to take an object for his collection and you even could imagine which object its going to be.
Like almost anything that you rent or buy in Amazon it wont have any Subtitles or Audio Support...I hope you know, just in case.

I love watching this show, I was really dissappointed when it was taken off the air. I find it very entertaining. I always think it's funny when they freak out if they see, hear, or feel something cause technically that's what they are hoping for so why is it a shock? I have no idea if the paranormal exist, or if the show is real or not but, I find it very entertaining and enjoy watching it regularly.

How could anyone not love John Zaffis? He's the classic "normal guy just trying to help people", just with a paranormal twist. I was surprised and delighted to discover that John is the nephew of the late Ed and Lorraine Warren, famous paranormal experts in their own right. So glad he inherited the passion for investigation, and that he includes his children in this legacy.

I had to go to iTunes to get the series as it was way too confusing for me to find a way to access the program from amazon. It was the 1st time I attempted to watch a program that wasn't Amazon Prime and I discovered it is impossible to get on my iPad, so I enjoyed the series, thanks to iTunes and I wasted $9.00 to learn never again to buy videos from Amazon.

Loved this show. I don't now why the Sci-Fi channel didn't renew it. Some of the paranormal occurances were incredible.
You're sitting, watching, and you are a witness to some unbelieveable activity. I hope that the Sci-Fi Channel will consider
reinstating this amazing program.

If you like to see the same story over and over and over again...this series is for you. This guy John Zaffis has got collecting mostly expensive items or items another collector would love to own down pat. It's like he walks into a house and scopes it out to see what he'd like to put into his collection, then he tells the owner that their haunting most likely is coming from that item. They give him the item and he puts it in his museum. I've never seen people give away something precious or a family heirloom so easily. Just tell them that its haunted or the item is what's causing you all the trouble in your house and making your life miserable and whola...it's on it way to John's museum. Oh yeah, let's not forget to mention his son...the guy that hardly ever speaks and is about as interesting as a tick on a dog. It looks as if he has about as much interest in doing this show as the viewer has about watching it. Pretty boring. John's daughter takes off in every episode with her laptop to go out and do "research" from a coffee shop...maybe she's the smart one. Neither one of John's kids look like they give a damn about what he does. It's their technical guy that pulls off the whole show. I forgot his name, ha...ha. But he actually makes the show about as interesting as its gonna get. I absolutely love this subject matter about the paranormal, ghosts, psychic's...you name it, but this series (at least season one) is just one after another of the same show.
