Great show.
I love fish, and have two aquariums, but nothing like what they make in this show.
The cast is really good, entertaining and enjoyable to watch.
The tanks they make are incredible.
Give this show a chance. You may think how good can a show that they make fish tanks be, but I'm telling you it's fantastic.

A couple of mooks from New York make it big with a custom aquarium gig in Vegas. Doesn't sound too remarkable, until you spend an hour every week with these guys. Wayde King and Brett Raymer are a pair of wise-cracking adolescents in adult bodies, and they are hilarious. Wayde is married to Brett's sister, Heather. They don't seem to take most things too seriously, and often come across as a couple of good-hearted clowns. While they appear to get under each others' skin occasionally, Wayde and Brett don't hold grudges and generally create a fun atmosphere.

But don't let their attitudes fool you; they are consummate professionals in the field of designing and building custom aquariums. With their ace handyman, Redneck, they design and install the most improbable and amazing acrylic aquariums in the business. Custom in this case means high-end and top dollar, which means they can't just work out of their garages. The tanks go from concept to delivery-ready in their large, well-equipped shop.

One of the most appealing aspects of Tanked is that there is very little artificial drama. The faked, scripted conflicts that are the hallmark of every "reality" show (Bachelor, and pretty much everything on MTV) have no place here. Wayde and Brett have too much fun to waste any time on contrived drama. Their focus is creating mind-blowing aquariums that exceed their customer's expectations, and having a good time doing it.

So if you want to simply enjoy a TV show, and see how much real creativity money can buy, camp out for an hour with Tanked. You'll get hooked (pun intended).

Nowadays you can have TV shows on anything: eating, cars, boats, loggers, antiques and I mean anything. But it takes more than knowledge to sell the show. It takes entertainers and these guys have it in spades when it comes to that.

Tanked follows the day-to-day of an aquarium building and installation company. Typically in a show you'll see a couple of aquariums being ordered, built, stocked and then installed in a home or business. And these are not the usual aquariums, they'll usually be big or have some kind of theme.

The two main protagonists are funny, not afraid to make fun of themselves and are larger than life. These two guys, Brett and Wayde are the reason why I watch the show. They make the show just a blast to watch. In the end, you're watching a show of 2 people who love what they do in life, are good at it and make it fun to watch - and that's what this show is about. If you like fish and aquariums, that's just a bonus!

Nowadays it see s like there is a reality TV show for any and every obscure hobby and occupation, from lumberjacks to housewives. This show is a pretty standard example. You can tell that everything is scripted, but nonetheless the owners and employees of ATM manage to be endearing and entertaining. Where this show really shines is with the fantastically creative, and sometimes massive, fish tanks that the team constructs. They have made some truly wonderful creations. If you like aquariums and tropical fish check out this show.

After discovering this show, I just had to buy season one, then watched in a couple of nights. Very entertaining, but especially if you love aquariums, as I do. Seeing the techniques the company uses to build these fantastic tanks is incredible; I wish I was in Las Vegas so I could apply for a job there. The staff is a bunch of characters, but very, very good at their jobs. As a creative director in marketing, I really connect with their hair-brained creative ideas that come alive right during the show. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed it a LOT!! I have an 80 g. Acrylic aquarium and have had fish since the age of 18, so had wanted to watch it forever! Great to watch it on iPad cuz I couldn't get hubby to record it. I think he's going to like it too tho. He said we could get a custom aquarium if we win the Powerball. Of course, that isn't much of a commitment. The TANKED guys are awesome; they can just about work miracles!

This show is great! Charming, interesting and full of inspiration and creativity. I love this family!!! Of course, they remind me of home, too, since I was born in Brooklyn.

If you are looking for a fun family show that will hold your children's attention, including pre-teens (and you know how hard that is!) you will enjoy this series.

Appreciate how the people of the company have to work together -- and how agreements and disagreements are shown. However, I also like that the disagreements are not overdramatized. Love the creativity and how each person contributes to success or problem resolution.
