5.0 out of 5 stars An Accupressure First-aid Manual, January 1, 1999
This book focuses on some easily-learned accupressure applications that seem intended to be the equivalent of a first-aid handbook. Although it lacks the in-depth discussion and completeness of a more professional work, the techniques listed cover some of the most common problems suffered by people (headache, sinus, acid stomach, knee pain, back pain, etc.). The methods are startlingly effective, especially the one for headache. I used this method once on a man who needed shots for a migraine, but who had left his medication home. The pain lessened by completion, but the relief continued afterward. His pain was completely gone in 10-15 minutes, and stayed gone. These methods are especially useful for those who already take a large number of prescription medications, and don't want to add other drugs to their system for more "routine" problems.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazingly Practical, December 18, 2001
By Janine Slater (Granada, Spain) - See all my reviews
This book benefits from a very practical layout and content, which is precisely what you want if you have a common ailment and are seeking the solution from a book. Clearly written with the minimum of techno-jargon and maximum relevant content per page. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
