Product Description
This handbook covers all aspects of the forensic examination of fibres, from factors affecting deposition to the collection of evidence at the scene of the crime, the recovery of fibres in the forensic laboratory, and the technologies used to establish their origin and identity. Emphasis is placed on the practical applications of technology - such as chromatography, spectroscopy and mass spectrometry - to the analysis of fibres. The theory underlying the manufacture of fibres and their properties is also demonstrated.
