From Library Journal
The late molecular biologist Reanney focuses on issues concerning time and death from a psychological perspective. He examines the history and nature of consciousness, especially the fear of death, ultimately maintaining that both quantum physics and a closed feedback loop framework of becoming support the belief in the personal immortality of human consciousness and therefore eternal life. In fact, although influenced by Stephen Hawking and Fred Hoyle, Reanney argues that the evolving universe is essentially consciousness. This book does offer interesting insights into myths, genes, memory, entropy, human choices, relativity, "many universes," and organic evolution. Unfortunately, its author lapses into objective idealism and wishful thinking. This journey into cosmic mysticism is recommended only for New Age collections.?H. Review
Molecular biologist Reanney blends science and spirituality in his investigation into quantum physics and its reflection on the nature of mortality and immortality. An intriguing, new examination results which challenges the boundaries of both scientific discoveries and spiritual thinking. --
