Despite that this manual was written well over a decade ago, many of the techniques mentioned are still very relevant today such as tissu culture and. The text itself provides a great introduction into the world of virology research and I would recommend it to anyone who is considering entering into the viroology field. However, if you have been in the field for a while or wish to look at applications of PCR in virology this is not the manual you want.
