I am more than a little proud of this publication and you may be right in thinking biased, as this book represented 3 + unimaginably wonderfully informative and rewarding years of my PhD (Dept., Community Medicine, Faculaty of Medicine, UNSW, Sydney, Australia). I had the honour of interviewing and recording the stories of many brave subjects (many unfortunately deceased) support of 2 outstanding scholars or my supervisors Prof. Wayne Hall and Prof. Michael Ross, and a government funded scholarship (Commonwealth AIDS Reseach Grant) and encouragement from my earlier teachers and collegues. This wonderful book and the research project it reports contributed to my personal growth through experiencing inexplicable pain, losses, joy, fun and love, from being emersed in the research field and deeply entrenched in the supportive literature. Thank you for selling and buying this publication. Lynette A. Arnoldus-Lewis

Format: Paperback
One of the premiere sex researchers, Michael Ross, takes his expertise into the underbelly of Gay life by looking at the dance party circuit scene. this is one of the only objective empirical glimpses into this important social phenomenon. It stands out as an important insight into a wide range of social behaviors surrounding the dance/rave/party drug scene and inroads into health promotion and damage control.
