It was quite a few years ago that I ordered this book from Amazon but I just saw now that I never put in a review for it after all this time! I still have this book and many of my friends and family have read it. I am the one with the hearing loss and it happened because of a horrible accident I was in at a young age. Coping with a hearing loss can be very difficult because people are not nice when you ask them to repeat something and they either scream it at you, make a rude comment or just say "forget it". This book will explain in easy to understand words how the person with the hearing loss can help him or herself which is the most important and anyone that WILL read it maybe will understand some of the things we go through. This is a great book and I recommend it to every person out there who has a hearing loss or any person out there that knows someone with a hearing loss!
