America's Biggest Cover-Up blows the lid off one of the most shocking secrets of our time: the link between the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome epidemic and AIDS. Neenyah Ostrom, the New York Native reporter who has devoted six years to investigating Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, has written a book that could literally save millions of lives.

Ostrom interviewed most of the major researchers in the field, as well as countless patients and government scientists. She has uncovered so many similarities between Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and AIDS that she comes to the conclusion that they are the same epidemic, and she argues that until their connection is admitted by top government researchers, there is little hope that real progress will be made in stopping these two expressions of the same syndrome.

Ostrom reports extensively on the virus HHV-6, which infects both AIDS and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome patients. She notes that it makes a better cause of AIDS than HIV, which can not be found in many so called AIDS patients. She also notes the disturbing fact that the government is doing nothing to prevent HHV-6 from being spread through the nation's blood supply.

Among the many disturbing findings in America's Biggest Cover-Up is Osrtrom's report on purple lesions found in the throats of a majority of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome patients. Ostrom argues that there is a good reason to believe that these lesions are related to Karposi's sarcoma, a cancer that is found in AIDS patients. Ostrom points out that the lesions could also be in the digestive tracts of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome patients and may explain the severe digestive dysfunction that many patients experience....

Ostrom warns that Chronic Fatigue Syndrome affects the brains of children and adults.

Everyone should read this book to get an inside view of the life of someone that lives with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
This illness has caused people to be ashamed of having it as others don't believe one is sick . One can be in bed for months and then have a kinda normal like day , then down again for months , or some never able to get out of bed at all . The general public doesn't have a clue as to how these people live , everyone needs to read this to understand the plight of the CFS sufferer . HORRIFIC isn't the word for this illness and the government hasn't acknowledged it as of yet either . I feel if someone in high office would have this illness it would finally be recognized and something or someone would try and help these suffering people , ones trying to cover this as the public doesn't believe one is sick that is ill with this .
