Since I"m a student of Noel Tyl's and know Glenn Perry and his incredible work, who was a contributing writer in this book, I wish to contradict the last person's comments on this book. This book is for astrologers, plain and simple. Its in depth and powerful - especially Glenn's chapter. Yes, you do need a good working knowledge of astrology, especially psychological astrology. This book changed my live personally, and professionally - for those who want to broaden their knowledge of astrology, this book will really help.

This books is great If you are learning astrology or studying to be an astrologer. This book is not for novices or beginners, it is more for intermidiates or Advance students. It examines many different charts of Famous and non- famous people and about there sexuality according to their natal chart.

It's too bad that the authors have turned such a fascinating subject into mind-numbing bore. Like many astrology books, the contributers try to "impress" the reader with technical language and psychobabble that will only confuse and frustrate the layperson. This book reminded me of the time I got a book on sex education that featured intricate drawings of pistils, stamens, and cross-pollination patterns. Ugh!
A far more interesting approach would have been to tell the reader which aspects to look for in a natal chart when analyzing someone's sexuality. A brief overview of planets in signs as they relate to sex would have been a lot more entertaining than the dry, academic discussions that comprise this book. Talking about sex as if it were an enjoyable activity rather than a biological necessity might have also helped.
If you want to read some good books on this subject, I suggest Martine's Sexual Astrology or Linda Goodman's Love Signs. Both are written in a lively, upbeat style that is entertaining and informative, even to folks with a solid background in astrology. Unfortunately, as of yet there are no books that coherently explain how to interpret horoscopes from a sexual perspective, but hope springs eternal.
