5.0 out of 5 stars Big advice from a little book, September 20, 2006
Easy to read and great information. If you think Raving Fans, Who Moved My Cheese or the One Minute Manager are great books, then you have to add this to your collection!

5.0 out of 5 stars Let go my Ego, September 21, 2006
By Stephen M. Mcgurl (Richmond, Virginia) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Easy read, yes. Must read, yes.

I believe this is uncharted territory for business and life books. Most people don't admit they have an Ego. Joel shows you that you need to leverage your Ego to both your advantage and the advantage of an ongoing relationship. It definitely reminds me of good old fashion advice I received as a child about valuing each and every relationship that you have.

Without friction, you have nothing, really. You have not tested the limits. Without being tackled, you haven't tried to run downfield. Without being told no and given objections, you haven't tried to sell. Without being heartbroken, you haven't tried to love. Go find your friction, but ... after you read this book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Practical advice for personal and professional situations, September 20, 2006
By Steve (Silver Spring, MD) - See all my reviews
I really enjoyed reading The Little Book on Big Ego. It was easy to understand, and I thought of several situations where I could have used one of the techniques.

I love that I can send the book anonymously - I've already got a couple people in mind.
