Buffie the Body is like nothing you ve ever seen! --XXL Magazine --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

Product Description

Buffie the Body burst on the scene in 2005, accompanying Tony Yayo in his chart-topping video, So Seductive. Thrust into a world of glitz and glamour, this small town country girl from Athens, GA remembers her humble beginnings. At first, Buffie was hesitant to participate in her first photo shoot and even more so to construct a website. However a photographer, persistent in his wish to photograph the voluptuous Buffie, convinced her that a website would be an instant success. He saw something in the extremely photogenic model--a certain hunger and charm. Buffie went from relative obscurity to voluptuous video vixen within the span of a few months. The launch of magazine layouts were on the newsstands everywhere, including XXL, KING, SHADE 45, FEDS, Vibe, Source, Smooth, and Black Men Magazine. The expansion of her website became an instantaneous Internet sensation. Buffie continues to aspire to be the name that you know, hear, see, and love. Buffie The Body yearns to be a household name. As far as bodies go, one must admit: Ain't no body, like Buffie the Body.

4.0 out of 5 stars More than what I expected!, June 20, 2009
I hadn't heard or seen any promotion on "Buffie The Body" coming out with a book, so when I saw this book, I had to read it because I've always been fascinated with Buffie's unique body proportions. Being female, I never wanted to purchase any of those many men's magazines she graced the cover of or was featured in. I wished I had.

I plowed through this book in less than 24 hours. I couldn't put it down.

Buffie is very candid about her life, revealing so much about herself as opposed to others. This is an autobiography where she is talking about what she went through in her life and how she came from a family of six siblings, living off welfare, to where she is now. I came to this book not knowing anything about this woman except the incredible asset that she is known for. She tells you how that came to be and it's up to you if you believe it or not. Buffie has been around the block--a few times; and she doesn't try to sugar coat the part of her life that was very hard core.

What I liked about the book is that she doesn't try to be more than what she is. She knows exactly who she is, how she got there and what the industry has to offer her and what limitations there are being in her kind of industry. What she reveals is quite raw at times; sometimes I felt that I was reading a ghetto-fabulous novel in the fact that some of the events that happened in her life were very dramatic. It's amazing that she's still here.

I finished this book respecting and admiring her independence and her strong sense of business and work ethic. She shows you that anything is possibe and that anyone can overcome the odds.

Also, this book is a Vickie Stringer Publication and I'm glad to see that Vickie is still doing her thing, keeping it real and raw!

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good, July 17, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The Vixen Icon was a fast and enjoyable read. Buffy started at the beginning for readers with her childhood. She had six siblings, lived on welfare and in the projects.

She has definitely been around the block a few times. She was a stripper and did a little of everything except drugs. She enlighten readers and fans on how she got her booty and all the fame she got from it.

I could definitely tell SHE wrote the book and not someone else. I mostly believed everything she shared in the book. I'm not really a fan of hers or anything but her story and life journey was very interesting to read.

Final rating: 4 1/2

3.0 out of 5 stars interesting, November 1, 2009

(REAL NAME)
I bought this book because I was interested in what she had to say. Her life story was ok. She basically became famaus because of her one asset; but the book was hard to follow. The paragraphs did not flow in order. She would start on one subject and then wonder off to a whole nother subject in the next paragraph or two and then go back the first subject. By then you almost forgot what she was talking about. After I finished reading this book I wonder what else she goning to do with her life. I have to wait and see.
