I can't change my rating of 5 stars, but I would if I could. These were the best cookies. Great consistency, delicious taste, low in sugar. However, I just got a box of cookies in the new packaging and the consistency was off. Sort of like eating chocolate chip cookie flavored sawdust. I believe in this company and hope that the box I tried was the exception. However, I would only recommend ordering these if you've already tried the boxed cookies and liked them.

I will try these again and will edit my review if the next box redeems itself.

Here was my original review, for the cookies in the old packaging:
Many cookies that contain 'good for you' ingredients and are low in sugar taste awful but these cookies were a pleasant surprise for me and my family. They are delicious! As a mom, I'm happy to give these to my son as an occasional dessert, since they are relatively low in sugar and don't contain artificial ingredients or preservatives. My son LOVES them!

My diabetic father in law also eats these when he visits (as part of a carefully balanced diet). They are very low in sugar, as far as cookies go. One serving contains 18 carbs with only 3 grams of sugar.

Keep in mind that one 130 calorie serving is only 5 cookies (they are very small cookies). Each bag contains about 25 cookies so you need to be careful not to eat too many in one sitting.

I like cookies -- probably way more than I should -- and so do my kids. So it's a struggle to keep sweets out of the house. NONE of us need the refined sugar and white flour that traditional "store" cookies contain.

I have to say I was very glad I found these--because for an occasional treat these are cookies that I can feel a bit better having around the house or dropping into a lunchbag for an occasional snack.

Bonus: They taste good too--although eating whole grain cookies (as these are) might be a different experience for those not used to whole grain products--particularly cookies. Don't worry. Once you taste cookies made with whole grains you will NEVER go back!

For those of us who have discovered how wonderful whole grains are (both for nutrition and for taste) these cookies are a wonderful, welcome change from other brands of "grocer shelf" cookies.

I also really appreciate that these cookies contain no high fructose corn syrup -- and contain real chocolate chips (not chocolate flavored chips--blech.)

The cookies have a deep, almost earthy taste that is hard to describe--but is completely different from other branded types of cookies.

In a word, they are wonderful -- and very reasonably priced for the value received.

Try them! You'll love them!
