About the Artist

Dead Confederate was formed in August 2006 by musicians hailing from Augusta, GA, where seeds of the current lineup were planted as far back as high school. Members now reside in Athens and Atlanta, GA.


Product Description

Athens, Georgia-based Dead Confederate's music is intense - a lumbering, southern psychedelic grizzly that reveals itself like fireworks in slow motion. The songs build before they burst into either giant melodic overtures or a shimmering cascade of saturated squalor - or both.
