A delightful variety on this album - because of the changing mix of guest artists and instruments there is never a dull moment nor is there a sense of sameness from one cut to another. However, the songs work as a beautifully-crafted and inspiring whole.

This here is some good ol' fashioned bluegrass. It makes your toes tap and you can feel the rhythm in your body.
There are a lot of up-tempo numbers on here, that showcase the incredible musicians and vocal talents of a slew of guest artists partnered with Tony on his banjo.
A perfect balance of ragin fast tunes with laid-back songs with folksy singing and soulful playing. Banjo, Fiddle, Guitar, Bass, Harmonica: all the makings of a great country bluegrass album.
If you are a fan of folk or bluegrass music, this album is a definite must on your list, as is anything Tony Trischka puts out!

Tony takes us through the world of banjo, and all of it's ebbs and flows. This is not only an exciting CD to listen to, it's a great picture at the versatility of the banjo and Mr. Trischka's own skill and love of the the instrument.
