In my own words
Bilingual teacher fluent in English and in Spanish, but also French (having lived and studied there) and Latin. Disturbed by the very fallen state of our culture and civilization and country, of which we are no longer aware, having nothing left to compare it to. But read James Joyce and weep for our growing incomprehensibility.

Then read Ali's latest and rejoice and resurrect and work for peace and for justice, by love.
Interests
Ireland and her literature, from Maturin through Mr. Joyce and beyond. Thus, issues of dispossession, exile, exodus and displacement, including in my borderland, which I cross several times daily. We are transcendent beings.

Kurasawa, etc. are also of interest.
