In my own words
Born in the late 30s, some of my earliest memories are of stomping tin cans for the war effort and toddling along taking fat in a jar to the butcher while holding mother's hand.
I graduated high school in 1956 and spent three years in the Army. Graduated from UNM in 1963 with degree in Geography, and moved to DC to work for the Army Map Service as a cartographer specializing in the mapping and geography of Africa, though I worked in other areas too.
