In my own words: I practice psychiatry in Rockland County. As you may deduce from my reviews I'm Welsh and like to travel to Greece and Latin America. I started them partly to keep track of my large and disorderly personal library. This is one of several recent good books on OCD. Incidentally they all seem to think the disorder is new to psychiatry and complain of patients having previously been misdiagnosed and mistreated, I think Foa and Foa's book is about the best in general as a self-help book.
