In my own words
Lesley West is a psychologist working in the area of international education and based in sunny Perth, Western Australia. Rewarding of course, but nowhere as fascinating as the written word and the places a fabulous book can take you. The West household is crammed with books of every genre, as well a very tolerant husband (Ric) and daughter (Claire), as well as a bemused cat (Mrs Norris) and manic dog (Lennon). This is a very unusual book. It is written as a journal, or a diary if you prefer, and it has a "stream of conciousness" style that can be somewhat difficult to get into.
